Living Room Furniture Design Dilemma

How to style credenza

Hello Houzzers! I’ve just moved (again) into a smaller place and had to place the credenza behind the living room couch. I’d appreciate any and all ideas on what to put on it. Big thanks!

I would put the TV on the wall that has the painting leaning against it. Make that alcove a reading nook. I would put a lamp on the credenza and a low bowl with glass balls or straw balls or rocks.
