OUCH! I'm about to spend $950.00... What happened?

First, I have to say the pits are very tiny, probably visitors to my house don't even notice them. I just want to fix them before they get worse.
We are pretty gentle users of the sink and I have a rubber rack on the bottom to prevent damage from heavy pots, etc. There are three tiny areas I would like to touch up, and can't find resources for a patch kit. I think if you are an original purchaser, you should probably get a kit when you buy it. This isink was in the house when we moved in.

A fireclay sink is basically china which is solid glass. Not much sticks to glass, and it really isn't resurfacable. I'd be surprised to learn that a patch kit was available and would actually hold up in a kitchen environment.

The product I've most often heard recommended is Porc-a-fix. And, if I'm not mistaken, Rohl recommends this product themselves for diy repairs. You can find it at the link below. Knock on wood, I haven't had need as yet for it. But if you get it, let us know what you think.
