Silgranit II is supposed to be easier to clean, smoother, and more stain-resistant (though the original Silgranit was all of those things already). To make sure you are getting II, call the seller first and ask specifically. Also, I believe the model numbers are different. And when you receive the sink, the box should say II on the outside. I just ordered 2 Blanco Silgranit II sinks yesterday from HomePerfect. I called them to make sure they were Silgranit II and was told that all of theirs are. Hope that helps!

I ordered my sink 4 months ago and when it came, the box said Silgranit 11. When I placed my order there was no mention of 1 or 11 on the website for FaucetDirect.com so guess I was pleasantly surprised when it came. It's been installed for 3 months now and it is smooth to the touch and very easy to clean and so far, no stains.

I have my sink (in the box). The box does not say "Silgranit II" - but Home Perfect claims that is all they ship. I wonder how I tell. I guess I will never really know.

Dcwesley - I am linking a thread on exactly this topic. The OP of that thread ended up calling Blanco for verification by giving them her sink's model number.
