Suggestions for an aluminum painted shut window

I was so proud to update and paint my windows- now my storm windows will not open as I painted them shut. i tried a razor blade and putty knofe but cant make it work Any suggestions? Be kind - im already upset

Without seeing how yours are constructed it’s hard to offer advice. Razor blade and a couple putty knives to break the seal. You may have to remove the window on the inside (wood) in order to remove the aluminum sashes (my storm windows pull in to remove…)

Please wear protective gear. Seen some pretty bad gashes from forcing a razor knife.
