We have only pot lights now with 4k lights ive always been used to the yellow lights but the family thought its time for a change

I wanted white/off white furniture rather than a dark colour

Either keep the grey with the sofa and add colour with cushions/accessories or add colourful furniture. Hope these images give you some inspiration!
