Therma True door price variations

| We are about to order a Therma Tru Fiber classic entry door. I called three different local vendors and got three VERY different prices on the same model with the same specs- one at $815, one at $680 and one at $555.
This concerns me. I can understand a slight variation, but this is a lot. Any input? |

| Install? Delivery? In stock v special order? I did find that "over the phone" prices tended to be higher than in the store, looking ready to buy, prices, including at the big boxes. I ended up buying our Therma Tru from what is usually considered a high end yard. They gave us the best price. Ours was a special order |

| Thanks for the ideas. I expected a range of numbers, but not that much of one. No install or delivery are included in what we need. No vendor seemed to have anything in stock since there are so many options available. Interesting about over the phone numbers vs. in person. We went with the best price from a local business and are happy so far. Should have the door in the next week or so. I'll post back in case anyone is interested. I got a lot of information using the search feature on here. BTW, we got the Fiber Classic 68, which has half a door of bevelline (sp?) glass. Not fancy, but not generic either. |
