Patio Slider: Marvin vs Milgard

| Shopping for a replacement door has really become complicated. We're going to have a 4-panel or 3-panel sliding door installed in an existing 10-foot door opening. I like the idea of fiberglass durability and paintability of the Milgard but the Marvin door sure looked well made and opened more smoothly. We're looking at the Marvin wood w/exterior cladding vs Milgard fiberglass with interior wood veneer. Marvin price is about 10% more. Any comments based on experience with either will be welcomed. |
