Fypon Door Heading

We have a Fypon Door Heading that is 63", the door is 32". (Couldn't resist...the price was right) How do we either cut down the header so that it does ot show, or add molding so it is not overwhelming

RE: Fypon Door Heading

Try slicing a chunk out of the middle, butting the ends together, and putting a keystone over the joint. That's what I'm planning to do on our front door crosshead (parts just arrived today). In my case, it's because I needed the style to match 2 adjoining doorways, and they didn't have the right size for the door.

Do you have pilasters to go down the sides? They can't take out 30", but they'd help balance the crosshead.
