Here's a picture of mine - I love them! I love how it looks, I love the funtionality. The baskets are 21" x 15" and hold a lot. I have onions and garlic in one (we use a lot of both), potatoes in another, green coffee beans in a third, and grains, beans, etc., in the fourth. Depending on your needs two might be enough for you, but I use these all the time. Also, I didn't want onions and potatoes closed up tight. You can get them that pull out like drawers, but I like it this way. I worried about the basket rubbing the shelf and on this forum asked someone who had something similar if this was a problem. She said, "Hot glue felt to the bottom." And that's what I did - works great.

I got the baskets from The Basket Lady and this color, which is the color I needed, was on a great sale this summer.

I've got 2 (1 for potatoes, the other for onions and garlic). I find it very useful, but I use these items all the time in my cooking.

I find that they provide too much light for potatoes and onion storage. A dark pantry or base cabinet with a pull out (away from heat) is better storage for those type of vegetables. THey also tend to get more dust in the cabinet because it's open, as well as in the basket itself. Functionality wise, I'd personally rather put in just plain drawer storage in a kitchen, but if a client wants them, sure, I'll add them.

They are usefull as "catch alls" for those last minute cleanups when you want to grab all of the toys or magazines or knitting projects and put them away when someone shows up at your door. And they're a pretty textural element in a kitchen. Sometimes you want something just because it's pretty. :)

I use mine for towels, napkins and coffee filters.
