Removing Chronotherm III from base, to change batteries
| | |

| The instructions for my Chronotherm III say to loosen the captive screws at the lower corners, then pull the unit out from the bottom. But when I went to loosen the screws, they were already loose, and the thermostat won't come off the base. I've tried pushing the tabs at the bottom, no luck. Is there some trick to this? Thanks. |

| make sure the 2 screws are complete loose or better, out and hold the top in place while pulling from the bottom. It will come out from the bottom first and then lift off. It won't break. ;) |
