Thinking you are going with a couple of different zones in this room. TV/Fireplace watching and possibly a game table???? Has the designer suggested a way to diminish the presence of all that brick in the room? Seems waaaay over stated for what it is really. I get it made sense to use all the weird angled wall but gosh who was the architect and I hope s/he didn't get paid much.

I hope your lovely designer isn't on houzz. Were you my client, this lovely designer would not be pleased with you at all. Actually, I probably would cut you loose.
