fantasy brown counters/ need backsplash. finished basement bar.

We need help selecting a backsplash for finished basement bar. We have leathered fantasy brown countertops and cannot decide. I’m leaning towards matching cabinet color with a crayon shaped tile…would love any ideas or pictures to help us decide. I found crayon tile but not right color to demonstrate. We will have two wood shelves going across and we have island too. Metal for sink and pulls will be black.

How much of this area do you want to tile? What does the rest of this space look like? Are you going for moody cave or light space?

Just between and under cabinets. Not the walls next to it. We have a wainscoating wall that is painted a dark color and we added in wine cellar that is black with white stone. Walls are light grey.
