I wanted to block the void under my porch. I know field mice have been in and out. I tried hardware cloth and lattice but they find their way. I think if I do I would need pressure treated wood to enclose. All I see is porches with lattice but never totally sealed. Is there a reason it shouldn't be sealed? It's dry dirt under it and an old stair that the porch covered might be cracked.
