Are you sure they are water spots? Sometimes staining can occur from a bleed when the wrong adhesive is used to adhere the countertop. Pictures would help in figuring how to approach this.

I have fresh concrete from caesarstone and it has chipped terribly with normal use all along the sink and in front of the dishwasher. It stains easily as well, but that is not as bothersome as the rough spots where it is visibly chipped. This product chips terribly: within the first month of having it, chips along the inside rim of the sink, and on the edge in front of the dishwasher, were visible. It’s beautiful, but clearly not designed for regular use. I can’t imagine what it’s going to look like (or how rough it will feel) several years from now, what with how chipped it is after only a year. We wash pans, and load the dishwasher just as we always have —- it’s defective.
