"Print" your own kitchen products, in your kitchen?

Eric Leclair

Hi Guys,

I came across this wonderful article on something called '3d printing'.

Apparently, you get a '3d printer', place it in your room, upload a file and you can print that image into actual physical product. Now sounds a little too 'wishy washy' to me but I wanted to know if this is something for real . . .

I mean I would love to make my own utensils, chopsticks, fun cookie cutters, etc.

This Pineapple shaped bowl would look beautiful on my kitchen table.

Has anyone tried 3d printing kitchenware themselves? Is the 3d printer affordable? Love to hear from someone already practicing this.

Guys just an update. They are now 'printing' food as well. It's pretty crazy.
