One of the first things you should do to prepare and equip yourself in designing the mobile apps, is to own a smartphone. This should be obvious, but it’s still one of the things I found to be the biggest advantage for me in web design mobile apps: A user heavily attached to my mobile for some years.
So, if by any chance you’re still not a smartphone user, go get one, start to download and test these apps, as this user experience is definitely one of the most important things for you to design a rich and powerful mobile application.
